We love supporting our Froedtert family! Our billing team works diligently to ensure your lactation consults are covered. Because Network Health does not allow outside providers in their network, we bill all Froedtert Network Health lactation consults out-of-network. We will collect payment at the time of our visit, and our billing team will submit the visit to Network Health on your behalf. If the claim is reimbursed by insurance, the paid amount will be reimbursed to you! While most of our families receive full reimbursement in a timely manner, we can’t guarantee reimbursement for out-of-network claims.

Currently, the State of Wisconsin health insurance does not provide insurance coverage for lactation consults. While we continue to push for this at every level, we currently offer discounted private pay options for all of our services, and can accept HSA and FSA cards as well.

While we are always working to expand our network, and while the ACA requires that lactation support is fully covered, there are some insurance companies that do not provide coverage for lactation support. 
For families with health insurance plans not listed here, we offer discounted private-pay options for all of our services, and can accept HSA and FSA cards as well.

We are happy to provide a SuperBill upon request, for you to submit to your insurance company in a request for reimbursement for your visits.
