JACKIE | FOUNDER, RN, IBCLC, CBWE

  • Hi! I’m Jackie–lactation consultant, postpartum nurse, wife, and breastfeeding mama to 3 sweet babies. I had the pleasure of supporting moms & babies in my role as a postpartum nurse for over 9 years.  Supporting families after welcoming a new baby (or two or three!) has always been my dream, and the ultimate reason I decided to follow a career in nursing. After having my first daughter and experiencing my own new and challenging—but incredibly rewarding—breastfeeding journey, my heart was set on helping others experience the feeding journey they so deeply want and deserve. And my second breastfeeding experience brought even more challenges & deepened my “why.”

I opened Latched in 2023 after continuing to find a lack of available community resources, providing quality lactation care. What Latched has grown to become since then, is more than I ever could’ve dreamed of. It is my greatest honor to walk with families through their feeding journeys—and to work alongside the most incredible team of RN, IBCLCs.

I am so grateful you’ve chosen Latched to support your family and can’t wait to meet you!

  • Welcome families, I’m Rachael and I’m so excited to be a part of the Latched community. I am a lactation consultant, registered nurse, wife and mother to my two wonderful kids. I’ve always felt called to caring for mothers and babies. I’m very grateful to have spent the last decade as a postpartum nurse in large birth centers. Helping mothers in their breastfeeding journey has been the highlight of my career. I appreciate that every family is unique, it’s important to me to collaborate with families and support them in their goals with evidence-based research.

I’m a breastfeeding mother of two extraordinary children. Their breastfeeding journeys were quite different from one another, and truly the catalyst that motivated me to become a lactation consultant (IBCLC). I first obtained my CLC certification in 2022 then went on to get my International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2023. In my free time you can find me working on a DIY project, spending time with my family, or visiting a local coffee shop. I look forward to working with you!

  • Hi! I’m Amanda- lactation consultant, postpartum/antepartum nurse, wife, and mama.
I’ve had the pleasure of supporting families for over 8 years as a nurse, both before and after delivery. In 2019 I decided to pursue my passion of helping families in their feeding journeys and obtained my first lactation certification. After having my daughter and struggling with my own feeding journey, I quickly realized even something as natural as breastfeeding can come with challenges.
I know just how delicate the transition can be to welcome a new baby, no matter which number baby it is for you. It is my goal to make you feel as comfortable and confident as possible, no matter what your feeding goals are.
In my free time I enjoy reading, thrifting, target runs, Tosa summers, and soaking in all the magic of being a girl mama. I live in Wauwatosa with my husband and daughters.

  • Hi! I'm Brittany — lactation consultant, women's health nurse, wife, and breastfeeding mom to three rambunctious boys.

For the past 14 years, I’ve worked across a variety of women’s health settings. I spent my first decade as a labor and delivery nurse and later worked in an OB/GYN clinic.

After facing challenges in my own breastfeeding journeys, I became passionate about helping other moms navigate feeding their babies and meeting their goals.  At the time, quality and compassionate lactation support felt hard to find, so I pursued my lactation counselor certification and began working in a large birth center in 2021.  I earned my International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) credential in 2022, and I have continued my work in the hospital setting, supporting families on the postpartum floor, in the NICU and through community breastfeeding support groups.

Each area of women's health has provided me with a wealth of knowledge that I bring to my role as a lactation consultant.  I love meeting families exactly where they are.  Every mom, baby, and family is unique, with their own needs and goals, and I’m honored to offer individualized care to each one.
I live in the Lake Country area with my husband, our three boys, and our senior pug, Willie. When I’m not supporting moms and babies, you’ll find me spending time with family and friends.  I am so excited to be part of the Latched team!

  • Hi! I’m Erin — lactation consultant, nurse, wife, and mama.

I’ve been a nurse for over 16 years, beginning my career in critical care before finding my true calling in maternal and newborn care. Since 2019, I’ve worked in labor, delivery, antepartum, and postpartum nursing, and I can honestly say I never knew a job could be this rewarding. My passion for supporting families began in 2018, during the birth of our first son. I still remember telling the postpartum nurses, “If you’re hiring, I’ll be back!” Before transitioning into maternal/newborn care, I became a Certified Lactation Counselor to ensure I could guide families with evidence-based knowledge as well as compassion. After years of hands-on experience, I achieved my IBCLC certification in 2024.

Working with Latched has been a dream of mine from the start, and I’m thrilled to be here. My goal is to support you in reaching your goals — whatever they may be — and to walk alongside you and your little one well beyond those first few days postpartum. My husband and I have called Lake Country home for 14 years, where we now raise our two young boys and our dog, Harper. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me reading, crafting, enjoying the outdoors, or spending time with my family.

  • Hello! I’m Mandy and I’m honored to have the opportunity to support you in your breastfeeding journey. I’m a registered nurse, lactation consultant, wife, and mama of two sweet littles.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with families for over 9 years in various settings. I started my lactation support journey as a CLC in 2017 when I was working as a NICU nurse at Children’s hospital. I continued to support new moms and babies as a Labor & Delivery/ Postpartum nurse for a few years until I obtained my IBCLC in 2022 and moved into a full Lactation Nurse role at a local area hospital.
I had two very different breastfeeding journeys with my children. I learned so much with both experiences and grew in my role as a mother and provider to others in need. My goal is to provide you the information and support you need. I hope to meet you where you’re at, to be your cheerleader, and to be a source of comfort and strength during the transition into motherhood and through the ups and downs of breastfeeding.
In my free time you can usually find me in the kitchen baking, listening to an audiobook, or snuggled under a blanket watching a movie with my family. I’m so happy you’re here and I can't wait to help you achieve your breastfeeding dreams.

  • Hi! I'm Whitney, Lactation Consultant, Postpartum Nurse, and Nurse Educator. I knew from a very young age that I wanted to end up in a career working with babies. I first started working as a postpartum nurse, then advanced my lactation skills and became a CLC, and shortly thereafter became certified as an IBCLC. I have a wide array of nursing experience, including hospital, clinic, and academic settings. As a Lactation Consultant, I have experience working with inpatient postpartum and NICU families, as well as in the outpatient and clinic environment.

I strive to provide evidence-based, unbiased, holistic lactation care that is individualized for each family. I fully understand that not every breastfeeding journey is the same, and am passionate about making my patients feel seen, heard, and included in their lactation care. I desire to create a comfortable and safe space where patients can express their goals, concerns, and successes in a way that feels best for them. My hope is to help best support your individual family's feeding goals, whatever that means for you. My interests include all things related to infant feeding, and specifically prenatal education and oral restrictions. Prenatal education is an imperative part of setting families off on the right path to a successful breastfeeding journey! I strive to prioritize continuity of care, and look forward to working with you throughout your pregnancy and postpartum journey!

ABBEY | RN, IBCLC

  • I am an overstimulated and under-caffeinated mom of 2 kiddos, a nurse, a wife and dog mom to a handsome black lab. I have always had a passion for working with babies, which eventually turned into a love for working with moms, their babies and the whole family unit while I was working as a nurse in the NICU. My interests expanded more as we started our own family, starting with a traumatic birth, a hard postpartum experience, and 2 very different breastfeeding journeys. I found that there was not enough support for moms after birth, especially those who need help now - I wanted to be that helping, guiding hand.

After my own first lactation visit changed the trajectory of my breastfeeding journey, I knew that this was my dream job and started pursuing my certification. I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and I also have a bachelor’s degree in nursing and am a Registered Nurse with an extensive background in labor and delivery, women’s health, neonatal intensive care, and pediatrics.

Growing in my own journey has led me on the search to finding alignment in my practice as a lactation consultant, and I cannot wait to serve you - just where you’re at!

  • I strongly value providing personalized lactation support along with prenatal education. I have a passion for helping others, giving parents and their children the education and tools to meet their goals as a family, while setting them up for health and success. I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, and I am a Registered Nurse with neonatal intensive care unit experience.

As an outpatient IBCLC, I have been able to serve families how they deserve by closing huge gaps in lactation care. My journey with my daughter Mallory inspired the private practice.

I had a traumatic pregnancy, labor and delivery, which ultimately led to a traumatic start to our lactation journey. I struggled with overwhelming pressure from myself and my care team to provide breastmilk for my daughter, however, was not provided anywhere near the support I needed to continue. I grew to resent feeding my daughter and could not get her to gain weight. I received mixed advice from the hospital lactation team, her pediatrician, and my obstetrician. I did not know what to do or who to listen to. I finally started listening to my body and my daughter, and it was only then that we both THRIVED. I’m proud and so thankful to be able to say I successfully wrote a new story for myself and my other two children! With Margaret and Henry, of course, there were pieces of our journey that were out of our control, but we were able to create such a peaceful and beautiful breastfeeding experience together. I share this to say it is possible to change your story too, and I’d be honored to help.

  • Hi friends! I'm Hailey the RD! Of course, I am a mama before all things... but when I am not wrangling twin toddlers I am a Registered Dietitian and Master's graduate in Nutrition and Physical Performance. I have had the pleasure of harnessing the power of nutrition with my clients for 10+ years! I have held multiple personal training certifications throughout my career.

My focus in practice has always naturally shifted with my current season of life. When I was training as a professional athlete, I worked with a lot of athletes! When I went through a gut healing journey, I began to focus on gut health with my clients. Focusing on digestion and the interconnectedness of the body led me to practice in a truly holistic way. When I started to focus on building my family, I became certified as a fertility dietitian to better support any of my clients with their fertility prep. As a breastfeeding mama, I love to offer support to other mamas! After working through eczema, feeding concerns, and allergies with my twins I'm honored to be able to speak on what I learned with other families.

As soon as I met Jackie from Latched Lake Country (after experiencing breastfeeding concerns of my own) and knew she, her vision, and her practice were special! Almost 2 years later, I am honored to be able to join forces. I cannot wait to get to know you, your baby(ies), and harness the power of nutrition together!

  • Hi! I'm Mandy, a Certified Lactation Counselor, Physician Assistant, wife, and a mom of three with a heart deeply rooted in walking alongside and supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, and the everyday realities of motherhood.

My journey into lactation counseling began as I navigated some early and unexpected breastfeeding challenges with my second daughter after a seamless first experience with my oldest. That experience, along with navigating my son’s tongue tie revision, opened my heart to the real, raw needs of moms in those early days. Those moments sparked a passion to help other families feel seen, supported, empowered and educated through their own feeding journeys.

At Latched Lake Country, I’m here to offer not just evidence-based lactation support, but also encouragement, perspective, and a listening ear. My background in medicine and BIRTHFIT gives me a strong foundation and allows me to blend clinical expertise with a holistic approach to maternal wellness. I’m a firm believer in the power of community and I can’t wait to help you build yours.

When I’m not supporting families at Latched, you can usually find me with a kid on my hip and a coffee in hand. I love a good book and coffee dates, sunshine and long walks, dark chocolate and strength training. I love the stillness of the morning, and the early newborn days are some of my favorites. More than anything, I believe there is beauty in the messy, holy work of motherhood and I am honored to walk alongside you in your journey.
